A new online career guidance dialogue with the motto “If I stay home, I choose…” was organized by the diez team, this time focusing on the field of IT. Dinu ȚURCANU – vice-rector of UTM, Sergiu NAGAILÎC – web developer, and Ana-Maria BRÎNZĂ, Master student at UTM and project manager within Orange Moldova, were invited to talk about the way UTM trains IT specialists and the career prospects of future students and young professionals in the field.
Today, high school and college graduates eager to explore one of the oldest areas of development in the world – construction, as well as its branches – cadastre and geodesy, had the excellent opportunity to participate in an online dialogue with the dean of the Faculty of Constructions, Geodesy and Cadastre, associate professor, Dr. Livia NISTOR-LOPATENCO, and the responsible secretary of the Admission Committee, UTM, Radu MELNIC, during the “Open Doors Days at UTM”.
The students of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava (Romania) brilliantly defended their Master theses at the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of the Technical University of Moldova, thus marking a new accomplishment in the bilateral collaboration UTM-USV, which successfully improves the activities and events carried out jointly in both the educational and scientific fields.
Today’s online dialogue during the Open Doors Days at UTM took place at the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering.
The Master’s program “Design and Development of Product”, the first with a double diploma at the Faculty of Textiles and Polygraphy, developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management of the Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi”, Iași, Romania, has its first generation of graduates.
“In the new year of study, the Technical University of Moldova is preparing to welcome an impressive number of students, already experiencing a growing interest from young people through the continuous flow of calls and multiple accesses on social networks”, said the Rector of UTM, prof. Viorel BOSTAN, in an interview given for Sputnik Moldova.
Today, more than 120 high school graduates from the capital and different localities throughout the country visited the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics in the online environment, this being the first of the long-awaited series of meetings within the Open Doors Days at UTM.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova has delegated two of UTM’s well-known personalities for the new team of the supreme forum of the Technical University of Moldova – the Council for Institutional Strategic Development (CDSI).
Irina CREȚU and Constantin ROȘCA graduated from UTM’s Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, specialty “Engineering and Protection of Water” in the same year – 2010. In 2013, together, they founded their own Project Design company in the Water Supply and Sewerage sector, in which, every day, they work and strive for continuous improvement in their field.
Sandra PRUNICI, a graduate of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, created a creatively unique atmosphere during the defense of her Bachelor’s thesis. Passionate about her specialty – marketing and logistics, but also about her hobby – IT, she ingeniously combined the two in her presentation for her Bachelor’s thesis on the topic: “Communication policy and social networks”.
