“In the new year of study, the Technical University of Moldova is preparing to welcome an impressive number of students, already experiencing a growing interest from young people through the continuous flow of calls and multiple accesses on social networks”, said the Rector of UTM, prof. Viorel BOSTAN, in an interview given for Sputnik Moldova.
“We expect to continue to have young people who choose this complex and extremely important field – the field of engineering. We can guarantee to future students that they will not regret the choice made, as the field of engineering is a field of the future, which continuously acquires new connotations. We are witnessing a digital revolution and we need a new type of engineers and trained people to face the challenges of the 21st century”, said the rector of UTM.
Viorel BOSTAN mentioned that the graduates of the Technical University can easily find a job after finishing their studies. Starting in their third/fourth year, young people already have a job in the field of their major, managing to harmoniously combine learning with applying.
“We have study programs where the employment rate is one hundred percent. There is a massive demand in the ICT sector, food technology, architecture, etc. On average, the employment rate after graduation is about 70 percent. From our observations, practically every graduate of UTM carries out his professional activity at home, in Moldova, according to their specialty”, concluded Dr. Viorel BOSTAN.
