The successful Master’s thesis defense conducted at the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, for the specialties “Business Administration” and “Economics of Real Estate Business”, is yet another confirmation for the high quality of studies at UTM. The students demonstrated their knowledge and skills relevant to market requirements, but also the ability to face the challenges met within remote learning.
During the academic year 2019-2020, the educational process has encountered obstacles which affected both the teachers and the students, the organization of online studies being carried out “on the fly” – a necessity imposed by the current pandemic situation. The Master’s students of the specialties “Business Administration” and “Economics of Real Estate Business” showed to possess a high level of knowledge and analysis skills, formulating proposals associated with the current economic situation of the investigated companies.
The thesis of the student Adelina PSENICICĂ “Sustainable development of the automotive industry in the context of European integration” (coord.: associate professor, Dr. Rafael CILOCI) was highlighted for its exhaustive analysis of the respective branch, the benchmarking analysis, reasoned proposals being elaborated for the development of this important branch for the Republic of Moldova. Also, the thesis of the student Alina LESNIC, “Increasing the sales of the company “Glamis” SRL based on the improvement of the crediting activity” (coord.: associate professor, Dr. Rina ȚURCAN) was appreciated for the proposed set of improvement measures, which are already successfully implemented.
At the end of June 2020, the online Thesis Defense of the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University (Suceava, Romania) will be organized at the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, and in July 2020 – the Thesis Defense of our students at the partner university, as a result of the fruitful collaboration between UTM and the “Ștefan cel Mare” University, which allows graduates to obtain a double diploma.
