Even if we work remotely, teachers seek to involve their students in various activities. Ecaterina COVACI, associate professor, PhD in the Department of Oenology and Chemistry, Faculty of Food Technology, aims to participate in the International Technical-Scientific Conference “New Technologies in the Study and Production Process”, organized by Ryazan Institute for Educational Development (Рязанский Институт Развития Образования), together with her student, Nicoleta CHIROȘCĂ, graduate of the TVPF-151 group.
Initially, they worked online on the article “Technological aspects of the production of dry red wine from the local variety “Rara neagră”, under the UTM conditions of micro-vinification”, after which they participated in the online conference. It was a good opportunity to draw the attention of her students to the scientific research activity, given that the topic of the article is part of an extensive research carried out in the scientific project for young researchers “Establishing criteria for transability of wines obtained from inland grape varieties” (no.18.80012.51.30A, AȘM, 2018-2019).
This teacher-student collaboration is a big step for the FTA graduate – the distance challenged her to get fully involved in the study process of the topic addressed in the paper, to discover a comprehensive research system – from high school to university level, but also to see the fruit of her own investigations in a paper published by an international forum, such as the Ryazan conference.
