Today’s meeting of the UTM Senate was conducted in a mixed format, some senators being present in the hall, and the rest – remotely, in the virtual office of the Cisco Webex application, the connection being ensured with the support of the Information and Communication Technology Directorate.
Andrei CUCEREAVÎI, graduate of UTM, today Web Developer at Pentalog, says that his decision to follow his passion for information technology has brought him to continue his studies at the Technical University of Moldova. He has chosen the “Computers and Networks” specialty, where he has been able to develop his IT skills – another reason CEGHID directs students to #UTMstudies.
The format of the International Technical-Scientific Conference “New Technologies in the Study and Production Process”, organized remotely by Ryazan Institute for Educational Development (Рязанский Институт Развития Образования), sparked the interest of researchers from the Technical University of Moldova, including Sveatoslav POSTORONCĂ, PhD student in his second year at the Doctoral School of Computer Science, Electronics and Energy, Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, whose presentation “Some technical features of distributed generation” was nominated as the best scientific paper within the “Fundamental Disciplines” section.
Today, together with the mobile phone operator MOLDCELL, we mark two decades of discoveries, creation and innovation. Over time, having received, on many occasions, the unconditional support of MOLDCELL, the Technical University of Moldova wished to celebrate this event through messages of gratitude from the administration.
Even if we work remotely, teachers seek to involve their students in various activities. Ecaterina COVACI, associate professor, PhD in the Department of Oenology and Chemistry, Faculty of Food Technology, aims to participate in the International Technical-Scientific Conference “New Technologies in the Study and Production Process”, organized by Ryazan Institute for Educational Development (Рязанский Институт Развития Образования), together with her student, Nicoleta CHIROȘCĂ, graduate of the TVPF-151 group.
Having partnerships with prestigious institutions in Romania, USA, Great Britain, Germany, Portugal, etc., the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business aims to collaborate with institutions in the East, and the online activity creates amazing opportunities in this regard. One of them was offered through participation in the Conference “Problems in ensuring the record and analysis of entrepreneurial activity” organized by the Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Ukraine.
As a technical-engineering educational institution, we consider social & human sciences to be compulsory in the training of young engineers. This idea has been addressed by the representatives of the Department of Social & Human Sciences – associate professor, PhD Ecaterina LOZOVANU and lecturer Cristina LAZARIUC (co-authors), at the International Technical-Scientific Conference “New Technologies in the Study and Production Process”, organized online on 17-20 April 2020 by the Ryazan Institute for Educational Development (Рязанский Институт Развития Образования).
During this difficult period, the lecturers have been teaching themselves on how to conduct online tutoring. They have studied tutorials, read articles, and learned from their colleagues who also work in the online environment, which has proven to be a great educational experience for everyone.

Irina GRUMEZA, PhD student in her third year at the Doctoral School of Food Science, Economic Engineering and Management, UTM, but also university assistant at the Faculty of Food Technology, managed to surprise with original recipes and advanced manufacturing technologies the audience of the International Technical-Scientific Conference “New technologies in the study and production process”, organized on April 17-20, 2020 by Рязанский Институт Развития Образования – Ryazan Institute (branch) of Moscow Polytechnic University and the Association of Education and Science Managers.
