The Technical University of Moldova is sparking the interest of the students eager to pursue engineering studies. This is also the case of the students from the College of Light Industry in Bălți, who paid a visit to the Faculty of Textiles and Polygraphy.
At the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, public hearings are taking place on the results obtained in the research and innovation projects, financed from the state budget, in institutional projects and some bilateral projects for young researchers, carried out in 2019. A directive in this regard was approved in 2018 by the ANCD in coordination with the AȘM, taking into account the subsequent changes on the evaluation criteria.
Today, 8 teachers of the Textile and Polygraphy Faculty have been awarded with high performance laptops, which they will use in their didactic, scientific and extracurricular activities.
Another 15 teachers honored and fulfilled, with the appreciation and importance attributed to their merit! Professors from the Faculty of Constructions, Geodesy and Cadastre, awarded within the Faculty Council with a high-performance laptop, offered for dedication and prodigious activity within the initiative of the rector of UTM, prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, “ICT tools in the teaching activity of UTM”.
During February 17th-21th, 2020, a study visit took place at the Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, within the MHELM project. The study visit was attended by representatives of six higher education institutions in Moldova, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. Viorel Bostan, Rector of the UTM, Vice-Rectors Larisa Bugaian and Dinu Țurcanu, Daniela Pojar, Head of the Resource Management Department, Rafael Ciloci, FIEB dean, and Cornelia Crucerescu, responsible for International Relations, FIEB, participated in the study visit from UTM.
Year by year, the students who have reached the stage of writing their thesis are put in front of an open fair: there are more and more announcements about the sale of these works on the pillars around the educational institutions and on social networks. Respectively, with a few hundred euros anyone can get a written thesis. How to prevent this scourge?
Saturday became the day of preparation for the Baccalaureate exam at the Technical University of Moldova. The academic campuses of UTM in Râșcani and Botanica once again greet the high school students eager to provide an admirable level of knowledge at their graduation exams.
How to make 150 teachers feel important, respected, appreciated?
Four theoretical high schools in Chișinău – “Minerva”, “Mihail Koțiubinski”, “George Călinescu”, “Petru Movilă” and four others from the suburbs – “Toader Bubuiog” from Bubuieci, “Grigore Vieru” from Băcioi, “Alexei Mateevici” from Cricova , “Nicolae Bălcescu” from Ciorescu discovered the beauty and importance of engineering, but also of the studies in the field, during a dialogue on the topic with the representatives of the Technical University of Moldova, conducted under the aegis of the University Center for Career Information and Guidance – CEGHID.
