The promotion of good eTwinning practices is an ongoing concern of the eTwinning Plus Moldova National Office, so on December 27th, the eTwinning Seminar “Ambassadors and promoters in promoting the quality of eTwinning projects” was organized.
The event brought together the ambassadors and active promoters of the eTwinning program who discussed the best and most effective strategies for promoting eTwinning opportunities and perspectives in implementing eTwinning projects. Also, the impact of the promotion events in 2019 was evaluated and some problems and challenges that teachers face in developing eTwinning projects were identified, such as: the communication barrier in English, lack of financial resources to achieve some eTwinning activities, limited access to broadband internet in schools, low knowledge about online collaboration and communication between project partners. The topic of conducting teacher registration sessions on the eTwinning Plus portal and the application sessions for the National Quality Certificate in 2020 was discussed.
The evaluation criteria for National Quality Certificates were discussed so that promoters and ambassadors contribute to promoting a qualitative participation in eTwinning projects.
At this meeting, ways to strengthen the eTwinning community was also discussed, and, in this context, the first eTwinning Group that aims to bring together all the members registered on the eTwinning platform in the Republic of Moldova – “TEAM – Teachers eTwinners Across Moldova” was presented. In this group, teachers have the opportunity to socialize, ask and receive answers to questions related to eTwinning, share their work experience in projects, examples of best practices and success stories, access resources and files presented at various events, campaigns organized within the eTwinning program, to watch the recordings of the online seminars / webinars organized by the ambassadors of the Republic of Moldova and the experts invited by the BNA eTwinning, to look for and be inspired by the “WEB toolbox“, to find out the latest eTwinning and eTwinning Plus Moldova news.
At the end of the event, there was a Q&A session where the eTwinning Plus Moldova management team had an open dialogue with eTwinning promoters and ambassadors from the Republic of Moldova.
