The rector of the Technical University of Moldova, prof, Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, together with the Vice-Rector for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication, Dinu ȚURCANU, welcomed the participants of the Workshop on ensuring the sustainability of the continuous training in the sector of energy efficiency in public buildings (EECP).
In his message, the Rector of UTM emphasized the importance of the problems addressed in this event, the development of the fundamental efficiency of verification and maintenance of the state of the public buildings, the related installations, access to the latest theories, concepts, models and techniques necessary for a productive and cost effective management, having a special connotation for the Technical University of Moldova, which constantly tends to diversify its educational offer in this field.
The participants in the workshop set the goal to identify the actions and responsibilities undertaken to ensure the good development of the training courses in the field of energy efficiency, and the special contribution of the German International Cooperation Agency – GIZ, the Agency for Energy Efficiency – AEE, but also the Directorate of Continuous Education within the UTM, were highlighted.
The workshop proved to be a very effective communication platform, bringing together leading specialists in the field: consultants of the project “Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova” (MSPL), implemented by GIZ; representatives of the EEA, led by Dragoș PIDLEAC; as well as a representative team of the Technical University of Moldova, constituted by the dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, associate professor, PhD Sergiu BEJAN; dean of the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, Victor GROPA; associate professor, Dr. Ilie NUCĂ, head of the Electrical Engineering Department, FEIE; dr. Nicolae MOGOREANU, Department of Energetics, FEIE; head of the Continuous Education Department, associate professor, Dr. Valentin AMARIEI, specialists of the university involved in the continuous training process, as well as representatives of the Center of Excellence in Construction and the Center of Excellence in Energetics and Electronics.
