FCGC: a new mobility at ENISE

Between November 24th and 29th, eng. Evgheni CUTIA, assistant lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Faculty of Construction, Geodesy and Cadastre, participated in the Week of Internationalization, the 6th edition, held at the National School of Engineering in Saint-Étienne (ENISE – École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne), University of Lyon. The event took place within the ERASMUS+ program for further development of the ERASMUS+ KA1 program, academic mobility between ENISE and other universities around the world, including UTM. Since 2016, ENISE and UTM are developing beautiful experiences in this regard.

– It was a period rich in events, says reader Evgheni CUTIA, the some of the most relevant being the conference with international participation of teachers from different countries – Romania, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Spain and so on; public lessons for students from the National School of Engineering in Saint-Étienne; international round table that addressed the main barriers faced by future engineers in the field of construction.

During the mobility, eng. Evgheni CUTIA also had the wonderful opportunity to deliver a public lesson on “Composite constructions of wood and concrete”, giving the participants the opportunity to exchange experience in the context of challenges dealt with in the engineering field of different countries.

The event was also attended by students of the Faculty of Construction, Geodesy and Cadastre, who are currently doing their Master’s studies at ENISE within the Erasmus+ program: Vasile BACALÎM, Alexei COJOCAR, Mihaela GALAJU, gr. IS-1801M, the Master program “Structural Engineering”.

Our representatives in Saint-Étienne express sincere gratitude to the management of the Faculty of Constructions, Geodesy and Cadastre, in particular the Dean, Associate Professor, Dr. Livia NISTOR-LOPATENCO, who provided and facilitated the collaboration and participation of the FCGC team in this program.
