Over 40 students from the College of Light Industry and the Polytechnic College from Bălți, together with their teachers Larisa CIOBANU and Corneliu IUZU, paid a visit to the Technical University of Moldova, at the invitation of the head of the University Center for Information and Career Guidance, Radu MELNIC, and the Deputy Chief, Natalia ȘESTENCO.
Welcomed by the representatives of three faculties – Ion FIODOROV, head of the Software and Automatic Engineering Department of the Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics Faculty, Rodion CIUPERCĂ, head of the Machines Construction Technology Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, and Elena MUSTEAȚĂ, head of the Department of Polygraphic Technologies within the Textiles and Polygraphy Faculty, the students took a tour around the university subdivisions of the Râșcani campus.
This is the first time they have stepped into a university classroom or have had the opportunity to follow the process of some experiences in the teaching and scientific laboratories. They were also fascinated by the greatness of the Center of Excellence in ICT “Tekwill”, the Engineering Center “FabLab” and the Center of Excellence and Acceleration in Design and Technologies “ZIPhouse”. It was also the first time they walked through a university park, which is also an outdoor museum of technology – a unique natural masterpiece in the Republic of Moldova. The students had the opportunity to visit the famous Planetarium of UTM, presented by Vitalie CHISTOL, head of the laboratory at the National Center of Space Technologies.
Dear students, we look forward to welcoming you to the great UTM family!
