UTM has three new partners in Vocational-Technical Education

The Technical University of Moldova has concluded three collaboration agreements today. The new partners come from the field of vocational-technical education and intend to interact on areas of related competences, especially in the area of ​​construction and ecology: the IP Center of Excellence in Construction in Chișinău, the College of Construction in Hâncești and the College of Ecology in Chișinău.

Rector of UTM, prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, accompanied by Dinu ȚURCANU, vice-rector of  Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication; associate professor, Dr. Livia NISTOR-LOPATENCO, dean, Faculty of Constructions, Geodesy and Cadastre; associate professor, Dr. Sergiu BEJAN, dean, Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture; Radu MELNIC, CEGHID director, Natalia ȘESTENCO, deputy director, but also the directors of the three colleges – Valeriu PELIVAN, Alexandru MEGHEREA and Nina NEGARA – have agreed on a wide range of activities regarding the professional orientation of college graduates in the study programs within UTM, providing scientific-advisory assistance and stimulating the development of young people’s performance in the engineering field.

The collaboration agreements stipulate the harmonization of the study programs of common specialties, student visits at the colleges of the faculties and centers of excellence of UTM, their participation in laboratory classes and master-classes next to the students of UTM, in professional orientation and dissemination of UTM’s educational offer; continuous training activities for the teachers of the colleges within the Center of Continuous Training of UTM, as well as other activities for the purpose of promoting engineering education among the youth.
