On Saturday morning, November 30th, 2019, the Technical University of Moldova was full of young people fascinated by physics – participants in the ninth edition of the Physics Competition “In memoriam Mihai Marinciuc”, proving once again that the interest for one of the oldest academic disciplines is only becoming stronger.
The Department of Economic Theory and Marketing within the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of UTM organized a methodical seminar with the title “UDS – Smart algorithm for digitizing clients in order to increase the client base of the company”, guided by Dora Rotari, owner of Bucobasa company, in partnership with GIS IT partner – Global Intellect Service.
On November 28th, the National Support Office eTwinning Plus Moldova – Technical University of Moldova participated in the workshop Developing bilingual / multilingual education policies and programs, organized by the Ministry of Culture Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
Between November 25th – December 6th, a group of 15 people, including 8 students and professors of the Technical University of Moldova, participate in a course in the field of Fashion Business Administration at the highest rated fashion institution in Italy – Polimoda.
Between November 26-29, 2019, a group of professors within the Physics Department – Ph.D., Ionel SANDULEAC, Ph.D., Silvia ANDRONIC, and lect. Tatiana OLOINIC, visits Italy, invited by the International Center for Theoretical Physics in Trieste.
The Technical University of Moldova has become a full member of the Consortium of Rectors of Universities of the Danube area (DRC).
The Erasmus+ National Office organized a national Erasmus+ information seminar for academic staff on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, which is included in the annual information campaign regarding the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Program. UTM representatives also participated in the information session.
Between November 25-27, prof., dr. Oleg Lupan, head of the Department of Microelectronics and Biomedical Engineering (MIB) of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics of UTM, visited the University of Leuven in Belgium, where he participated in the international consortium formed within the project “Marie Skłodowska-Curie” Innovative Training Networks” (MSCA-ITN) – “Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, Research Networks dedicated to training young researchers / PhD students”, Orizont 2020 Program, which UTM is a partner of.
The Technical University of Moldova and the company “Amdaris” have concluded an extended collaboration agreement, which comes to document the signatories’ achievements and prospects.
On the morning of November 28th, 2019, Serghei Andronic, Vice-Rector for Studies, Larisa Bugaian, Vice-Rector for Financial Affairs and International Relations, Carolina Timco, Head of International Relations Service, and Rodica Siminiuc, Head of Doctoral and Postdoctoral Department, met with IAW representatives: Walter Erchinger, Dmitru Calugari, Sandu Tocan, Constantin Ababii and Nicoleta Stăvilă.
