Yesterday, in the spacious Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture, the Technical University of Moldova and the famous mobile phone company Orange signed a long-term partnership.
The 12th edition of SIELMEN – International Conference on Electromechanical And Energy Systems, opened its work at Tekwill, under the auspices of the Energetics and Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Technical University of Moldova, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Energetics and Applied Informatics of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Craiova, in partnership with the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering – IEEE Romania Section, Association for Promoting Engineering Education and a number of local sponsors.
The six best projects of the student-architects – Victoria LUNGU, Gheorghe CAVCA, Daniel GONCEARIUC, Victoria BARCARU, Ecaterina DIUVENJI and Dragomir MAISTRU, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture, UTM, executed in the workshop “The City and its River” were exhibited as a preview of the International Conference “Chișinău Identities”, the 2019 edition, which will be held on October 24th and 25th.
Nicolae MOGOREANU, associate professor, PhD in the Department of Energetics of the Faculty of Energetics and Electrical Engineering, UTM, is one of the 10 winners of the national prize “For an active life at any age”, organized by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova.
Professors of the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business participated, on October 4th, in the second edition of the international training Moldova Mentor’s Masterclass, organized by Garage48 and YEP Moldova, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Estonia and hosted by the Artcor Creative Industries Center.
On October 7th, 2019, prof. Viorel BOSTAN, rector of the Technical University of Moldova, thanked the valedictorians of 2019 for their excellent results when earning their bachelor’s degree, and for the choice to continue their master’s studies at Alma Mater, they were awarded a laptop for their excellence in studies and extracurricular activities, which, after successfully completing their studies, will remain in their personal property.
Between October 5th and 6th, in the Romanian-French Theoretical High School “Gheorghe Asachi” from Chisinau, the Republican Powerlifting Championship 2019 was held, WDFPF version.
Between September 14-30, 2019, the first mobilities took place within the CEEPUS CIII-HR-1404-01-1920 network “Adriatic-Pannonian-Black Sea Food Connect”, a project won by the Faculty of Food Technology for the period 2019-2020.

One of the revelations of the Conference for the completion of the PBLMD program was the invitation on stage of the UTM student Ana Țurcanu, third year, who follows the study program “Software Engineering”, to which the PBLMD program was implemented, and because of this, she benefited from an internship mobility in Denmark, at Aalborg University, where she studied Robotics during a semester. Ana described her experience there and how PBLMD helps students discover a different learning and teaching method.
