Today, October 3rd, 2019, the young people from the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, who decided to pursue a specialty at the Technical University of Moldova, have signed trilateral agreements with UTM and the Executive Committee of the GTA in Gagauzia to benefit from the annual scholarships offered by UTAG.
The program for granting study places at the UTM for the young people from Gagauzia was proposed by the Executive Committee of the Autonomy. Based on this, more than 20 Gagauzian students registered at the UTM in the current year will receive an annual grant of 10 thousand lei.
In this context, UTM assumes the responsibility to prepare the group of engineers, according to the specialties to which the more than 20 young people from Gagauzia have been registered for. After the completion of the studies, the UTAG Executive Committee guarantees places of work in Gagauzia for the young specialists trained at UTM.
Addressing the young Gagauzians who chose to pursue their studies at UTM, the rector Viorel BOSTAN entrusted them with making the right choice, stressing the importance of engineering for the development of industry and the national economy, including the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
Sincere congratulations on the occasion to the first deputy governor of UTA Gagauz-Yeri Anatoli USATÎI. He emphasized that the signed agreements confirm their status as beneficiaries of the study grants offered by the UTAG budget to cover the tuition fee for the entire 4 years of study at UTM.
A Memorandum regarding the payment by the UTA Gagauzia of the scholarships to the UTM for the young people of Gagauzia was signed on July 12, 2018, by the UTA Gagauzia Irina VLAH and the rector of the UTM Viorel BOSTAN.
