On the evening of September 27th, the Park of the Technical University of Moldova in the Râșcani sector played several roles: exhibition space, experimental laboratory, astronomical observatory, Tesla car track, fashion show podium, space for nutrition workshops, printing on textiles, leather goods, but also robotics. These experiences were part of the extensive agenda of the 6th edition of the European Researchers’ Night at UTM, which took place in 300 European cities simultaneously.
On September 25th, 2019, Mr. Marin Ciobanu, administrator of the Free Economic Zone in Bălți, together with the delegation from RWTH University of Aachen, Germany, comprising Dr. Bern Markert, the vice-dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Helmut Dinder, general director, and Katia Trescher, project manager, Financing and International Education Projects, both from the International Academy of the University of Aachen, visited UTM.
The Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics has inaugurated a new space for seminars and laboratories – room 3-110, after a capital renovation and ultra-modern refurbishment.
A delegation of French parliamentarians, members of the Friendship Group France-Moldova, while visiting Republic of Moldova, expressed interest for a trip to the Technical University of Moldova, to the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics.
The 9th Technical-Scientific Conference “Environmental engineering, photogrammetry, geoinformatics. Modern technologies and development perspectives”, organized in Lublin by a consortium of seven universities: from Poland (Lublin, Krakow, Opole), Ukraine (Lviv), Portugal (Beja), Republic of Moldova (Chișinău – Technical University of Moldova), Germany (Stuttgart) and hosted by the Lublin University of Life Sciences, Poland, debated issues related to water and wastewater treatment, renewable energy sources, waste management, landscape protection, circular economy, water, soil and air protection, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geodesy, cadastre, cartography and geoinformatics.
On October 15th, 2019, the project “Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in development, administration, management, protection of computer systems and networks in companies of Moldova, Kazakhstan, Vietnam”, with the acronym LMPI, will be finalized.
From the first edition of 2011 to the fourth edition of the current year, the International Conference in the fields of Nanotechnology and Biomedical Engineering has expanded its number of participants to 200 and the geographical area they represent – to 20 countries around the world – Germany, France, Greece, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Japan, USA, but also the number and topics of the papers presented – 180 reports and in-depth studies in congruent fields: nanotechnologies and nanomaterials, bionanotechnologies and biomaterials, clinical engineering , biosensors and medical tools, tissue engineering, etc.
Officials from the Republic of Moldova, world-renowned scientists, researchers, physicists, chemists, electronics experts, doctors, nanotechnology specialists and biomedical engineers from over 20 states around the world, planned to meet on September 18-21, at ICNBME-2019 , thus reconfirming the aim of the largest international scientific forum in the fields of nanotechnologies and biomedical engineering, organized in Chișinău, to promote the exchange of information on the latest theoretical achievements and applications in the fields of nano and bio science congruence.
Today, in Chișinău, the 4th International Conference “Nanotechnologies and Biomedical Engineering” – ICNBME-2019, opened at the Labor Institute, under the auspices of UTM, AȘM, USMF “N. Testemițanu”, the Biomedical Engineering Society of Moldova, in collaboration with the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering, the European Commission “NanoMedTwin “, the National Agency for Research and Development, Global Biomarketing Group – Moldova, SA IMUNOTEHNOMED SRL and Medexcom-Teh SRL.
