Between October 24-26, 2019, the eTwinning Annual Conference “Democratic participation” will take place in Cannes, France.
The conference will bring together teachers, decision-makers and experts from across Europe, who will discuss the concept of democratic participation.
Teachers who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in participating, are invited to complete the application form by August 31, 2019, 12:00.
The number of places is limited.
Eligible candidates must:
- be an eTwinning member;
- have a good level of communication in English, the language of the event;
- have experience in implementing eTwinning projects (NQL / EQL holders), having an NQL in a project that reflects the thematic approach of eTwinning 2019 – “Democratic participation”, is an advantage.
- have shown an interest in supporting and promoting the eTwinning Plus Moldova program and the European school partnerships;
- not to have benefited from other eTwinning funding in the last 3 years (participation in European events).
Due to the specificity of the eTwinning action, it is recommended that participants have the skills to use information and communication technology (ICT) to establish educational partnerships and successfully conduct online school projects.
It will also be taken into account the involvement of candidates in the eTwinning action during the 2018-2019 study year – participation in projects and events launched by the National and Central eTwinning Assistance Bureau (eg online and on-site learning events, eTwinning Day etc.) and involvement in promotional activities.
The selection of participants will be made according to the order of the reception of the forms, respecting the mentioned eligibility criteria.
Deadline for reception of application forms: August 31, 2019, 12:00.
The results of the selection will be announced through the national eTwinning website – www.e-twinning.utm.md 
The selected teachers will be contacted via the email address and telephone number specified in the application form, to provide detailed information regarding the event schedule.
The costs of participating in the event, including round trip travel, are covered by the National eTwinning Office Moldova -Technical University of Moldova from the sources granted for the eTwinning program by the European Committee and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
