UTM at the Festival of Song, Dance and Folk Attire in Cașin

In the middle of August, on the day of Saint Mary, a group of professors from the Technical University of Moldova participated in the Festival of Song, Dance and Popular Attire, initiated by UTM in the international Symposium “Cucuteni 5000 REDIVIVUS: exact sciences and less exact ones”.

Reaching its third edition, the Festival is supported by the town hall Cașin c., Bacău county, with mayor Daniel SOROIU in charge, together with the promoter of national values – ​​Constantin TODOSE, who expressed their good will and hospitality through welcoming the participants to the festival, including the group of teachers from UTM – Valeriu DULGHERU, Sergiu ZAPOROJAN, Ilie MANOLE, Victor COBZAC, Tudor BOTIN, Elena BOTIN, Valentina STRATAN and Anatolie IANACHEVICI.

It was an extraordinary cultural event, with several artistic collectives from the villages of Colibași and Costești – “Haiducii”, of the couple Elena and Tudor BOTIN (Republic of Moldova), Mahala village, Cernăuți region, Ukraine and from Soveja c., Vrancea county, Dragoslavele, Argeș county, “Nemuritorii” (“The immortals”) group, the well-known soloists Gabriela COMANECI – a famous name in Romanian folk music, children’s canto teacher, soloist of the ensemble “Ciocârlia” from Bucharest Nicolae DATCU, maestro Ilie ROȘ, etc.

As in previous editions, this cultural event has achieved its purpose: to unite the two sides of the Prut river.
