The event will be held on September 14, at Tekwill – Center of ICT Excellence and Training, str. Studenților 9/11, Chișinău.

This September will bring together security professionals, developers, students, and security enthusiasts who seek to raise awareness about information security, discussing best practices, offensive and defensive security strategies, malware and protection measures.

The organizing team has designed an IT Security competition (Capture The Flag), in which the competitors must have knowledge about different topics, such as: Penetration Testing, Cryptography, Programming, Social Engineering, but also ingenuity!

Our goal is to expose participants to the experience and lessons learned by professionals, and by learning how to solve Capture the Flag challenges, a type of competition in the field of security that combines technical knowledge with ingenuity – we will certainly increase their skills in the field of IT Security, so we will minimize the risks of vulnerabilities in the future. During the conference, we will discuss with the leaders of the IT industry, not only from the Republic of Moldova, but also international experts, independent researchers and people with a lot of technical expertise. We want the community to see this conference as a safe place to ask questions and a platform to discuss the work or research they do” says Dinu Țurcanu, the vice-rector of the Technical University of Moldova, who adds that he wants to form a community for cybersecurity enthusiasts, a place for people to learn, discuss, ask for help, but also present their own experience.
