On July 4th, 2019, at the Technical University of Moldova, the 9th International Scientific Conference “Amorphous and Nanostructured Chalcogenides (ANC-9)”, co-organized with the National Institute of Materials’ Physics and the Institute of Virtual Physics, both in Romania, has finished its work.
The ANC-9 Conference is dedicated to the founder of the Non-crystalline Semiconductor Materials Study School in the Republic of Moldova, the late academician Andrei Andrieş, president of the Academy of Sciences in Moldova between 1989-2004.
Associate member of the AȘM, professor, PhD. Dumitru Țiuleanu presented a brief outline about the progress and results of the Conference, pointing out that at the conference, 13 plenary papers, 11 verbal reports and 35 posters of scientists from roughly 20 countries around the world were presented and examined. The papers will be published in international scientific journals with an impact factor: Physica Status Solidi (basic research) and Chalcogenide Letters.
On behalf of the Conference Organization Committee, all participants were handed Certificates of Participation to ANC-9.
