With the goal to improve the quality of teaching-learning methodologies and study programs, the Technical University of Moldova is always open for the implementation of new models in the concept of organizing and conducting studies.
The promotion of good eTwinning practices is an ongoing concern of the eTwinning Plus Moldova National Office, so on December 27th, the eTwinning Seminar “Ambassadors and promoters in promoting the quality of eTwinning projects” was organized.
At the end of the year, the weekly “Literatura şi Arta” (Literature and Art), together with its readers, designated the notorious personalities of the public and cultural life of the year 2019. This year, the event was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the paper, bringing together, at the “B.P.Hașdeu” Municipal Library in the capital, prominent readers, devoted and talented friends of the newspaper – poets, writers, publicists, essayists, literary critics, humorists, pamphleteers, artists, journalists, and, of course, scientists.
The introduction of the Technical University of Moldova to the external environment means both the internationalization of the academic programs and the curriculum, scientific research and cooperation, as well as the attraction of foreign students to engineering studies in the Republic of Moldova, at UTM.
The Republican Universiade – 2019, organized by the Moldovan Federation of Student Sports and Veterans of Sport, has included 19 sports events, at 16 of which the UTM teams became winners. In the general ranking of teams, UTM was ranked second, being outclassed by the State University of Physical Education and Sport. USM was ranked third, ASEM – fourth, USMF – fifth.

On January 9th, 2020, the delegation from Dumlupınar University in Kütahya, Turkey, consisting of prof., Dr. Hasan Göçmez, vice-rector, and associate professor, Dr. Oktay Şahbaz, head of International Relations Service, visited the Technical University of Moldova.
The director of the UTM Continuous Training Center, associate professor, Dr. Valentin AMARIEI, signed the acknowledgment of the six laptops from the GIZ Center (The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH – Germany’s International Cooperation Agency) intended for the training process within the Center for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings (CEECP).
Another year has passed. For the Technical University of Moldova, 2019 proved to be rich in achievements both internally and externally.
